Townhouse
Behind a façade that echoes Amsterdam’s industrial past lies a loft with an international allure. The vaulted ceiling, concrete floor with curved brass inlays, and carefully selected marble all reveal precise attention to detail – even in the smallest elements.

The kitchen islands, topped with solid travertine slabs resting on bronze bases, stand like sculptures in the space. The impressive sliding door – measuring no less than 4.5 metres tall – opens the living room to a green urban oasis, seamlessly connecting the interior with a generously sized garden by Amsterdam standards.

The careful selection of materials is felt throughout the house. Textiles by artist Mae Engelgeer can be found in various spaces, including a wall tapestry she designed specifically for the bedroom. With a focus on detail and texture, each room tells its own unique story.

The clients placed great importance on ensuring that every aspect of the design aligned with their way of living. The bespoke bedside table was fitted with various smart features, we designed custom bronze handles for doors, and a sink for the toilet was carved from a solid block of basalt.

The top floor features leather tiles laid in a hexagonal pattern, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere as you ove toward the primary bedroom. A distinct feature is the wardrobe furniture, which – despite the bathroom having no doors – effectively separates the sleeping quarters from the living areas.
